PR Polymerase
|
|
PR Polymerase is a thermostable, DNA-dependent, DNA polymerase that exhibits robust Proof
Reading activity. The enzyme exhibits optimum polymerization activity at
720C in
presence of Mg2+ ions. The 3' to 5' exonuclease mediated proof reading activity enables
the enzyme to proofread mis-incorporated nucleotides and reduce errors during
polymerisation. PR Polymerase is the enzyme of
choice for high fidelity DNA synthesis. It can be efficiently utilized for high fidelity
PCR amplification of DNA fragments to be used for gene cloning, site-directed mutagenesis
and other genetic manipulations. |

Performance Test
|
|
PR Polymerase is tested extensively for PCR amplifications of
specific DNA fragments using human genomic DNA and l
DNA as
templates. The conditions need to be optimized for each individual
system. It is observed that for products <2Kb, to 1.5 units
of enzyme in a 50µl reaction mix yields a single, specific band of
interest. For products >2Kb, further optimization is required.

p-Npp System for ELISA

p-NPP system is a ready to use two component liquid system used as substrate for alkaline phosphatase. The required amount can be prepared by mixing the two components. This substrate yields a soluble yellow reaction product with alkaline phosphatase in ELISA that can be read at 405nm.
p-NPP system contains 10ml p-NPP solution and 200ml dilution
buffer. Working solution is prepared by mixing one part of p-NPP with 19 parts of dilution buffer.

2.05,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 10
kilobases. The plasmids are stained by ethidium bromide and can be easily resolved on a 1.0 to 1.2% agarose gel. Plasmids can be accurately sized without need for restriction digestion. The DNA ladder is not intended for quantitative analysis.
