Genei has
plant DNA extraction service from leaves and
tissues. We assure high quality DNA (1-3
µg/sample) which will be supplied in liquid form
at 4°C with the certificate of analysis.
Quality
Control: DNA will
be tested for restriction digestion, absence of
non-specific nuclease, PCR amplification and size
determination (~50 kb).
Sample
Condition: The
good quality and quantity of DNA depends on the
condition of the leaf/tissue, which should be
healthy, tender, green and fresh. Genei requests
the customer to send samples in the best possible
condition.
How to
send samples:
Leaf/tissue samples should be packed in individual
'zip-lock' plastic covers. Every cover should be
numbered and labelled properly (e.g. name of the
institute, date of delivery etc.) Care should be
taken not to damage the samples while packaging.
